Taining Geological Museum, 8 hectares in area, is currently one of the largest geologic museums in China. It is a large comprehensive museum exhibiting geosciences regarding the Danxia landform and landscapes as well as local custom, garden and human cultural history. Visiting the museum is not only an understanding of Taining’s unique geography through sand table simulation, but also an overview of the Earth’s several-billion-year-long history and a pleasant learning activity.
